Pathway II — Block Trading
Block Trading Introductions.
Wessex acts as an intermediary for holders and buyers of significant exchange-traded equity positions. We introduce suitable institutional counterparties and facilitate discussions. The parties agree terms directly, with execution and settlement handled by their appointed providers, not by Wessex.
Our Role
From position to introduction.
- 01
Position
We discuss the size of your holding, your objectives, timetable and price expectations to identify the types of counterparties you wish to meet.
- 02
Counterparty
We introduce prospective buyers and sellers to institutional counterparties — funds, family offices and principal investors — with an interest in positions of the relevant size.
- 03
Discussions
We facilitate communication between the parties as they consider price and terms. Any agreement and trade execution are the responsibility of the parties and their appointed execution providers.
- 04
Completion
The parties and their appointed legal, regulatory and settlement providers handle completion and applicable disclosure obligations. Wessex remains the point of contact for the introduction, not the executing or settling party.

Holding a position of size?
Tell us the holding and the timetable, and we will sound out counterparties on your behalf — quietly.
